FarmEco offers inspiring educational activity visits for primary school groups. For a two to four hour session primary school children take part in a range of activities aimed at increasing their awareness of fruit and vegetables, soil health and farm animals. Sessions are run by a trained member of staff in line with the national curriculum. Expect the day to be both fun and educational.
The group is welcome to stay and have their packed lunches in the bongo tent or polytunnel and to explore the labyrinth to let off steam before returning home.
We do have some free school visit bursaries available each year for newly visiting schools. We are happy to welcome children with SEN or disabilities.
We are also able to offer bespoke sessions e.g. nature connection and art, horticulture, work experience etc for older groups including college students.

We love to welcome young people to the farm. Especially those from the inner city who have had little experience of seeing how food is grown. Tasting an apple straight from the tree is so different to one weeks old, wrapped in a plastic bag from a shop.
