Our community cider club help all year to look after the apple trees and, in the autumn, they help to press the apples into juice, cider and vinegar. We all take a share of the cider that we’ve made and there is generally some left over for a bit of a knees up.

The Men in Sheds group aims to address research that has shown that men are generally poor at maintaining their social networks, especially after retirement. The group enable folk to get together, do something useful, learn new skills and have a laugh and a chat.

We hope to add a Women in Sheds group soon.

Nature club meet regularly to conduct biodiversity counts of birds and other flora and fauna on the farm. This work is important in us being able to demonstrate the impact of our conservation work and also is an opportunity to learn something new about what can be seen around the farm.
